Abuse Statement

We at Plaza Baptist Church are committed to creating and maintaining a community in which all members, friends, staff, and volunteers can worship, learn, and work together in an atmosphere free from all forms of harassment or sexual exploitation. We believe God desires that all relationships in the church be conducted with mutual care and a deep respect. Plaza Baptist Church intends to take action in an effort to prevent and correct such behaviors that violates the churches policies including:

• Mandatory reporting to law enforcement of any behavior that violates the church policy on harassment.

• Engagement of the Ministry Safe program to prevent and protect against child sexual abuse.

• All staff members and volunteers will submit to a background check through the Ministry Safe program.

• Onsite security in coordination with local law enforcement.

• Taking disciplinary action toward those who violate Biblical standards and church policy on harassment.
